Building leaders through adventure, service, and friendship since 1999
Troop 99 was chartered in 1999 by American Legion Post 440. For over 25 years, we've been helping boys and girls build character, leadership skills, and lifelong friendships through the Scouting program.
Today we're a family troop, welcoming both boys and girls ages 10-17 to join in the adventures that define Scouting. We believe every young person deserves the chance to build confidence, develop leadership skills, and create lasting friendships through adventure and service.
We meet Monday evenings at 7:00 PM at the American Legion Post 440 hall in Newtown.
"On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country, to obey the Scout Law, to help other people, to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight."

We meet Monday evenings at 7:00 PM. Come see what Scouting is all about.
